Meditation: The God of the Living

Texts: Job 19:23-27a and Luke 20: 27-38

Reflection

There is a love that does not flinch in the face of death.
A Presence that holds you beyond the edge of knowing.
Not with answers,
but with stillness.
Not with certainty,
but with fierce fidelity.

You are not your résumé,
not your mistakes,
not your grief.
You are not defined by roles, or systems, or status.

You are seen.
You are known.
You are held — even now — in the Living Flow of Love.

This is resurrection:
not resuscitation,
but transformation.
Not later, but now.
Every time you say yes to life.
Every time you risk love.

Let go of what no longer serves.
Release the need to solve the mystery.
Step into the Story that already holds you.
This is not the end.
This is the beginning.

Sacred Question

What would change if I trusted that I am already held — not by what I can control, but by the God of the Living?

Prayer

God of Life,
I bring you my questions, my longings,
my fear of letting go.

You do not demand my certainty —
only my trust.
So I lay down my illusions of control,
my craving to understand,
and I open myself to Presence.

Let me live as if love gets the last word.
Let me walk in the Mystery that breathes through all things.
Let me be among the living —
awake, transformed,
and deeply, truly alive
in You. Amen.
