We gather. We grow. We live generously.
A Sacred Space To Grow Your Soul.
Called Anyway
Despite the Questions.
Because of the Questions.
Why I’m Still Here (And Why That Matters)
You should probably know up front: I haven’t always loved the Church.
In fact, I’ve spent much of my life wrestling with it — questioning its teachings, grieving its failures, and resisting the ways it often prioritizes power and control over compassion and truth. There were seasons when I walked away entirely. And still… I find myself here. Not because I believe the Church has always gotten it right, but because I believe — deep in my heart — that the Christian tradition contains deep truth, hard-won wisdom, and a powerful invitation into wholeness, transformation, and love.
So I stay. And I serve. And I try to do it differently.
I am a priest — not because I think I have all the answers, but because I believe the Divine meets us in the questions. My calling is to help people grow their souls, to nurture a life-giving relationship with the Sacred, and to make visible the Dream of God — a dream where mercy triumphs, justice blooms, and love is the only power worth wielding.
My Path Wasn’t Straight — And That’s the Point
I grew up in a military family and spent much of my childhood feeling like I didn’t quite fit the mold — in faith, in gender roles, or in institutional expectations. I was drawn to God early, but I also experienced deep spiritual harm. I encountered forms of religion that were authoritarian, patriarchal, and obsessed with being “right.” I know what it’s like to be hurt in God’s name — and what it takes to find your way back to something deeper.
Through years of study, prayer, military service, seminary, illness, healing, and learning from many wisdom traditions, I began to rediscover Christianity as something far more expansive than I’d been taught. I began to trust that the Sacred is not confined to buildings or doctrines — that the Face of God can be seen in the everyday, and that the Spirit still moves in ways that the institution cannot contain.
This is what I bring to my ministry: not perfection, but presence. Not orthodoxy, but authenticity. Not spiritual performance, but a path of awakening.
What I Believe
• God is with us — not in some distant heaven, but here, now, in exactly the place we find ourselves.
• Christianity is a valid and beautiful spiritual path — when it leads us to love more deeply, not judge more harshly.
• The life of faith is not about believing all the right things, but about becoming wholly human and more fully alive.
• The spiritual journey is not linear. We grow by waking up, cleaning up, opening up, and showing up.
• The sacred is not separate from the secular — the ordinary is infused with holiness.
• We all carry the image of God — and we are invited to “put on the mind of Christ” by living from our truest, most compassionate selves.
Why I’m Here
I’m here because I believe people are hungry for something real — not religious performance, but deep spiritual nourishment.
I preach to make faith relevant to our daily lives.
I teach to help people grow their souls.
I create spiritual practices — like meditations, music, rituals, and reflections — that help people connect with the Divine, however they understand it.
I’m not here to sell certainty. I’m here to walk with you as we grow together in love, honesty, and hope.
So whether you’ve been burned by the church, or you’re just curious about a different kind of Christianity — you are welcome here.
There is room for your story.
There is space for your questions.
And there is, always, a place at the table.
